Please excuse our dust while our webpage and practice are under construction. Anticipated opening in April 2022!
Oakland County has been home to us since 1994 and we are thrilled to offer world class eye care to the community we grew up in. Dr. Daniel Kasprick received his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School and completed his residency training in medical and surgical ophthalmology at the internationally recognized Kellogg Eye Center at the University of Michigan. He was a faculty member and Chief Resident at Kellogg for one year after completing his training and had an active role in resident surgical education. He started to practice in Rochester Hills in 2018 and has developed a large following of happy patients over the last 4 years. Dr. Kasprick felt he had even more to offer eye care patients of Oakland County by establishing a new practice on the south end of Lake Orion, MI. It was important to him that he not venture too far from his previous area of practice (while still respecting any previously established non-compete agreements) and we are thrilled to be establishing a permanent home in Lake Orion. We are a physician owned private family practice and are dedicated to three things and three things only - healthy eyes, excellent vision, and your 100% satisfaction.
Our board-certified ophthalmologist offers a full range of comprehensive ophthalmic services and treats a wide variety of conditions including but not limited to routine exams for glasses and contacts, cataract evaluation and treatment with premium intraocular lens implantation, red eyes, eye pain, flashes and floaters, glaucoma, dry eye, iritis, eye injuries and emergencies, infections, age related macular degeneration, blurry vision, double vision, retinal tears, retinal detachment, punctal plugs, Prokera, cataract surgery, and diabetic retinopathy.
Give us a call or send us a message and allow us to take care of the rest. We know you will be happy and that's why we come to work each day! Dr. Daniel Kasprick's wife, Jessica Kasprick, is also excited to bring over 18 years of ophthalmic technician experience to the practice as she has helped tens of thousands of patients to have a pleasant eye exam experience. We look forward to introducing the rest of our phenomenal team to you as we expand after our expected opening in April 2022.
Dr. Daniel Kasprick is an expert cataract surgeon with years of experience in routine and complex cataract surgical correction. He is an open and honest surgeon who sees his role as to be an educator for you regarding whether or not you'd benefit from surgery and what options you have. Even if it looks like you would benefit, he firmly believes that cataract surgery should never be done unless you are unhappy with your vision and you will quickly see that he has a "no pressure" approach that makes patients comfortable and confident in his care. He offers a full range of intraocular lens implants (required for all cataract surgeries) ranging from simple high quality lenses with no out of pocket cost all the way to premium lenses that can correct astigmatism (Alcon Toric Lens) or free you from glasses completely (Panoptix or Vivity Lens by Alcon). He has developed a well deserved reputation for making cataract surgery an incredibly easy and painless process. We are sure certain you'll be surprised at how stress free the journey to clear vision can be!
No matter what your issue or concern is Dr. Daniel Kasprick can provide you with a comprehensive eye exam to address a wide variety of conditions including but not limited to dry eyes, cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, glasses, contacts, eye pain, blurry vision, flashes and floaters, retinal tears and detachments, eye injuries and emergencies, double vision, light sensitivity, glaucoma, and age related macular degeneration.
The dry outdoor air and constant furnace usage during a Michigan winter are a common cause for severe dry eye. Many patients are unaware that symptoms of blurred vision, eye pain, and tearing are often due to dry eye. There are a number of components to dry eye treatment and Dr. Daniel Kasprick is happy to take the time and make the effort to talk you through the entire process so that you can achieve the results you are looking for and have confidence in the process.
